Omaha Veterans Memorial Bridge

The new 4,300-foot Veterans Memorial Bridge in South Omaha, Neb., replaces a narrow and structurally deficient bridge. The river span is a 625-foot truss to accommodate the 590-foot clear navigation span required by the U.S. Coast Guard. The bridge provides a direct route across the Missouri River to the Omaha Stockyards for livestock delivery trucks.
